About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading shifts to create an excellent experience for guests and team members. This role ensures fast and friendly service, quality products, and a clean, safe store environment. The Shift Supervisor performs all roles and duties of a team member while supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all roles and duties of a team member.
• Support Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Act as the scheduled Manager on duty, coaching, developing, and mentoring the team.
• Assist with new hire training and communicate changes in policies, promotions, and general updates.
• Manage shift labor, including shift start and end times, and communicate with the manager about any issues.
• Assist ASM/Store Manager with bank deposits and cash handling policies.
• Verify and balance back bank.
• Assist with monthly inventory and ordering.
• Provide performance feedback to team members.
• Communicate promotional items, events, and upcoming donations.
• Motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Solve store problems relating to customers and employees during shifts.
• Ensure every product meets Dunn Brothers standards.
• Follow up on product rotation, day dots, and adjust pars as needed.
• Maintain a clean environment inside and out.
• Ensure all checklists are completed before shift change.
• Conduct shift change communication regarding completed tasks and upcoming needs.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and in good working order.
• Create teamwork to drive results in ongoing promotions and daily sales goals.
• Communicate daily goals to the team.
• Ensure the team is upselling items and communicating platform items.
