About The Position

Management Services Corporation, one of The Caton Companies, is seeking a Shift Coordinator for Sunchase Cinema 8 located in Farmville, Virginia. Going to the movies is the all-American experience! We're expecting to expand our hours very soon as COVID-19 restrictions are eased, and we will be ready! Our Shift Coordinator plays a vital role in a smoothly operating cinema and a fantastic movie experience for our guests. They should be organized, friendly, and customer-focused.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Experience in handling computerized ticketing systems

Responsibilities

• Direct other employees through their routines
• Interact with customers to ensure a satisfactory experience
• Run the staff when the manager or assistant manager is not on duty
• Uphold standards of presentation, food quality, and excellent guest service
• Provide on-the-job coaching and performance management for the team
• Set the example as the Leader on Duty
• Ensure the cinema operates seamlessly
• Manage customer, associate, and operational escalations
• Remove barriers for the team and support them in identifying problems
• Execute solutions
• Adhere to high safety and quality standards and communicate those standards to the team
