About The Position
The Sheriff Sergeant position is responsible for providing leadership and assisting in the overall operation of the Sheriff's Department at various levels, including unit, field, or jail. This role involves supervising personnel, enforcing laws, building community trust, and ensuring the implementation of contemporary standards. The Sergeant will also be involved in training, evaluating staff, and managing inmate activities, while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
