About The Position
Opportunities for promotion to Sworn Police Officer exist for this position! This position is offered a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision and more available first day of employment. Longevity pay increases are available at 6 months, 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 20 years. A retirement plan with up to 5% matching is also included, along with generous paid time off and holidays. Paid time off is received after 30, 60 & 90 days. Gym membership reimbursement is available through the insurance plan. The position involves 8 hour shifts (6a-2p)(2p-10p)(10p-6a) with 6% and 10% shift differentials, and a $1500 yearly hazard pay bonus. Uniforms are purchased by the employer. This position is full-time, nonexempt, classified and covered as defined by The Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen Employee Handbook. Hours: Days and shift times vary; 40 hours/week.
