We are seeking reliable and compassionate care staff to supervise youth residing at the Youth Futures residential shelter home. CARE staff are responsible for creating a safe and stable environment that allows youth to meet their immediate needs, find stability, connect with resources, and plan for their future —to rest, repair, and relaunch. CARE Staff are the primary floor staff in the shelter. They are responsible for the 24/7 supervision of up to 12 runaway and homeless youth in the shelter, with ages ranging from 12-18. CARE staff track youth in and out of the shelter, prepare meals, provide clothing and other essential necessities, maintain the shelter's cleanliness, process donations, and ensure the safety of both the youth and the facility. The position requires documenting resident behaviors and actions using a computer or documentation forms.
