Requirements

• High School Diploma and 4 years related work experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse clients with varying needs.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, email, etc.).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in residential services for at least 2 years.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shelter Manager in day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Ensure compliance with shelter contract and licensure requirements.
• Prepare reports and statistical information.
• Work with staff to meet performance targets in accordance with contract requirements.
• Observe staff interactions with clients and provide feedback.
• Address and investigate client/staff complaints and report findings.
• Ensure staff utilization of electronic database and data integrity.
• Conduct one-on-one supervision of direct reporting staff to assess and improve performance.
• Assist in ensuring all shifts are covered and the shelter is maintained according to regulations.
• Conduct monthly fire drills.
• Supervise guests and attend to their needs according to policies.
• Ensure food is prepared and served healthily during meal times.
• Supervise self-administration of medication by guests.
• Maintain daily logs and guest files in compliance with requirements.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for guests.
• Establish relationships with guests' case managers and community professionals.
• Represent HABcore at community meetings as assigned.
