The mission of Shelter Services at NeighborImpact is to provide a safe, non-congregate space for houseless Central Oregonians to shelter. We value the respect and dignity of all. We aim to create a space that is physically and emotionally safe for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation. The Shelter Advocate is responsible for providing case management services for shelter guests. This role will work with program guests in a compassionate and professional manner as it relates to the program objectives. Responsibilities include supportive interaction with program guests, shelter management, volunteers, partner agencies and team members. The Advocate also completes vulnerability assessments for potential guests and unhoused community members. The weekly schedule for this position will include weekends. This is an onsite, in-person position.
