Job Summary
The shift specified is Mon-Fri 3:00am to 11:30am and operates the shell room during the gap between off going 2nd shift and oncoming 1st shift and all of Friday’s shift requiring effective communication and hand offs. Operating the shell room includes operating robotic shell making lines. Build, measure, and maintain ceramic slurries and stuccos per work instructions. Clean and load wax assemblies into the system and unload and prepare finished shells from the system. Mon-Thursday from 6:00am to 11:30am this position is expected to support 1st shift duties in the shell room only as needed and by direction of position’s lead, coach, or business leader otherwise cross-train and certify in Wax Assembly and create wax assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate robots and monitor conveyor lines and key process variables.
Clean and fill and tanks; make ceramic slurry and monitor viscosity levels.
Wash, rinse and dry wax assemblies prior to shell making
Prepare and load wax assemblies on hangers to introduce into robotic systems
Unload hangers of finished shells, breakdown and clean hangers and pins preparing shells for next operation
Works with small hydrogen torches, hot plates, brushes, hot wax, irons and hand gauges
Detail delicate wax patterns, patching and blending defects. Use hand tools to patch, smooth and fills areas.
Attach patterns, ceramic pour cups, and other ceramic and wax structures to sprues with correct orientation/spacing.
Visually inspects patterns and wax assemblies for defects.
Perform operator maintenance checks, tasks, and regular area cleaning.
Clocks in and out and vouchers on to jobs in ERP computer system.
Follow tech cards and work instructions and complete travelers and logs.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:00am - 11:30 am (Includes 10% shift differential)
Work Environment:
May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.
Occasionally lifts 25 – 45lbs.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Read, write, and speak English
US Person Status
Ability to accurately follow tech cards and travelers.

Ability to pass vision test and maintain vision requirements.
Desired Characteristics:
