The Shelf Stocker is responsible for accurately keeping track of inventory records of food products at the Great Lake Naval Training Center. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of storerooms, as well as ensuring that stock is rotated according to the first in first out (FIFO) procedure. The Shelf Stocker will also complete daily checklists, receive vendor orders, inspect products for quality, verify quantities against invoices, and reconcile electronic vendor invoices. Additional responsibilities include returning unused items to the storeroom, assisting in store room inventory, cutting cycle day food ordering, reporting defective equipment, and ensuring safety and organization in the storeroom.
