The RoleResponsible for the layout, fabrication and installation of duct work and outfitting items made from various grades of Sheetmetal, utilizing various hand tools and shop equipment.

Requirements

• Sheetmetal HA must have 2-3 years of craft work experience with the ability to fabricate and install duct hangers and flanges
• Ability to understand fit up and alignment tolerances
• Ability to safely operate miscellaneous hand tools used in the trade
• Capable of reading a tape measure both standard and metric
• Ability to pass a tack welding certification
• Other related craft skills with 2-3 years craft experience working with various thickness of metal are shipfitter and roofing
• Carpentry skills with 2-3 years experience are also applicable

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Tech Master Certification
