About The Position

We are a premier manufacturer of anodized aluminum coil. We are currently hiring for an experienced sheeter/slitter operator for our metal Coil Service Center. This opportunity is a Union position and benefit eligible. Hours: M-TH: 7:45 am to 3:45 pm. Hours may increase based on production needs.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience
• Must be able to work 8 and 10 hours shifts standing, reaching, monitoring, bending and squatting as needed.
• 50 pounds lift required.
• Physical, drug screen and background check required.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or HSE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ability to set up and run slitter and/or sheeter or both.
• Read work orders and follow instructions accurately.
• Perform necessary quality checks
• Ability to do basic math calculations.
• Communicate and read and write in the English Language
• Mechanical/hands -on abilities
• Overtime as needed
• Follow all PPE & safety guidelines
