Hexcel Corporation is seeking a Sheeter Material Handler for our Casa Grande, AZ location. This position is integral to our manufacturing process, where we lead the industry in advanced composite materials, including carbon fiber and woven reinforcements. The Sheeter Material Handler will be responsible for operating the Sheeter/Stacker to lay-up printed nomex sheets, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and timely delivery to the correct work center. The role requires a keen eye for detail, as the individual will inspect HOBE for quality and assist lay-up operators with any quality issues that arise. The position operates on a unique shift schedule, requiring flexibility and the ability to work overtime as needed. The Sheeter Material Handler will engage in various tasks, including cutting sheets to desired lengths, loading and unloading materials, and utilizing overhead cranes and Big Joe equipment. The individual will also be responsible for setting up the Sheeter to ensure proper operation and safety, as well as conducting visual inspections of printed rolls for defects. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing process, and the selected candidate will play a key role in our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in composite materials.
