They are seeking a full-time Sheet Metal Technician for their Norwalk, CT location. Requirements

Mechanically inclined with a strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate effectively.
Basic mathematical skills required.
Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience operating computerized metal folding and shearing equipment.
Solder and work with various metals with precision and care.
Ability to take accurate measurements and read technical drawings.
Previous experience in the architectural, construction, or design industry.
Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Program and operate CNC folding and shearing machines to fabricate light gauge architectural sheet metal components.
Solder and work with various metals with precision and care.
Maintain and monitor equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to unload deliveries and manage material handling using a forklift.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times.
Flexibly support additional tasks and duties as needed to meet team goals.
