About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Technicians for projects located in the Fairfield, CT area . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to $45/hr based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Must be able to read blueprints
- CT Sheetmetal License SM 2 License
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal to required sizes and angles
- Label and prepare components for installation
- Install various types of ductwork (rectangular, round, flexible)
- Secure ducts using appropriate supports, hangers, and fasteners
- Install related components such as dampers, insulation, diffusers, and registers
- sealing, testing, and balancing tasks as required to ensure proper system performance
