Sheet Metal "Press Brake" Operator- 2nd Shift
About The Position
This position now starts at $22.50/hr or more depending on the amount of experience you have operating a Steet Metal Brake. (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE PAST EXPERIENCE OPERATING A SHEET METAL PRESS BRAKE) THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION BUT TRAINING WILL TAKE PLACE ON 1ST SHIFT FOR APPROXIMATLY 2 WEEKS. Requirements
- MUST HAVE PAST EXPERIENCE OPERATING A SHEET METAL PRESS BRAKE.
- Basic math knowledge.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Understanding of basic computer PC.
- Must be willing to work overtime.
Responsibilities
- Operates press brake and machine control (CNC) for simple routine setups.
- Loads and unloads tools.
- Operates the machine control.
- Responsible for routine maintenance of machine, and secondary operations during production.
- Must be able to verify quality using simple measurement instruments (calipers, protractors, etc.).
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be required, based upon business needs, at any time with or without notice.
