About The Position
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for a long-term project in Jacksonville, FL, beginning March 2026. We are seeking dependable tradesmen with strong commercial sheet metal installation experience who take pride in quality craftsmanship and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and layout duct correctly.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, snips, brakes, and measuring devices.
- Must have basic PPE, tools, and reliable transportation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and pass standard screenings.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and secure commercial HVAC duct systems (sheet metal and flex).
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and take-offs.
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and modify sheet metal components to fit installations.
- Install hangers, supports, dampers, grilles, diffusers, and related HVAC components.
- Work alongside other trades and maintain safe jobsite practices at all times.
