About The Position
RQ is currently seeking Sheet Metal Installers to become part of its self-performing team for ongoing work at Camp Lejeune, NC. Founded in 1996, RQC, LLC has established itself as a major contributor in the commercial and government Design-Build sector. The company now operates nationwide, with active projects from coast to coast, including in North Carolina. RQC manages projects across the U.S. through dedicated field teams who are deployed on-site at each job location. The company is known for delivering accelerated construction schedules on new commercial builds for both public and private sector clients, with a strong emphasis on Department of Defense projects. Position Overview: Sheet Metal Installers are responsible for fabricating and installing duct systems, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites. All work must comply with applicable codes and standards. The role requires applying mechanical knowledge and technical skills while using proper tools and adhering to strict safety protocols, all in alignment with RQC's mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimum education required for this position.
- 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting is required
- All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
- all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).
