About The Position

Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects, spanning coast to coast, including North Carolina. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market. We are looking to hire a Sheet Metal Installer to join our self-perform team for ongoing work in Pensacola, FL. Our Sheet Metal Installers will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of mechanical principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Our mission is 'to provide our customers the best built environment while being the first choice of all stakeholders. Per diem may be eligible for qualified candidates not local to the Pensacola region. Pay: $25.00- 49.00 per hour

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position.
  • 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting is required
  • All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
  • All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).
