Requirements

General knowledge of construction activities.
Ability to work with hands and use construction tools.
Ability to take instruction.
Willingness and ability to work nights and overtime on an as-needed basis.
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.

Nice To Haves

Industrial experience, including carpentry/woodworking, auto mechanics, or machinery.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, assists in carrying, hanging and assembling duct assemblies using screws, couplings, clamps, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering and welding.
Performs general jobsite duties such as setup, material handling, post job clean-up.
Loads and unloads trucks using manual lifting or jobsite equipment such as forklifts or telehandlers.
Assists apprentices and journeymen in job planning, material storage at jobsites.
Participates in the removal / installation of HVAC and/or equipment duct work that is being completed on a daily basis.
Inventories and prepares all hand tools needed to complete daily tasks, as assigned.
Identifies potential risks and hazards while working in the field, and communicates them to management.
Utilizes proper PPE at all times, in adherence to Company policy and other project standards.
Actively learns and obtains job-related information via observation and direction from supervision.
Collaborates with supervision to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work tasks, and meet both daily and weekly schedules.
Maintains appropriate Company confidentiality at all times.
Protects the assets of the Company and ethically upholds the Code of Conduct & Ethics in all situations.
Cultivates and promotes the “Hearts & Minds” safety culture.
