About The Position

CertainTeed Machine Works is looking for a skilled fabricator to join our team in Winter Haven, Florida. The individual must be able to work with CNC laser cutters and CNC press brakes to form metal parts. Responsibilities include making setup changes on CNC press brakes including tooling and programs, reading blueprints and drawings, taking and reading measurements to ensure parts are formed properly, inspecting manufactured material and required parts to meet quality control standards, and assisting the Quality Assurance inspections and technical testing activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade School preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience working with laser cutters, press brakes and sheet metal rollers.
• Must be able to bend and form metals with precision using technical drawings and CNC press brakes.
• Ability to learn proper operation of press brakes and laser cutters.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to utilize skills in operating power and hand tools when necessary.
• Ability to work under limited supervision at times.
