This position is a career opportunity with Mate Precision Technologies, a leader in tooling and laser consumables for sheet metal fabricators, servicing customers in over 85 countries. The representative will be responsible for helping customers reduce costs and improve operational efficiencies through the effective application of advanced tooling and services. The role requires regular and frequent travel, up to 75%, and the individual must reside within the designated territory. The representative will utilize their experience in sheet metal fabrication to enhance customer productivity, assist customers by demonstrating how advanced tooling applications can improve manufacturing efficiencies, and build strong relationships with accounts. The position also involves conducting product demonstrations at customer locations, developing a network of referrals to capture new customer opportunities, and maintaining a robust network of OEM dealers to promote their products. Additionally, the representative will conduct customer meetings, maintain accurate records of meetings and customer profiles, provide necessary information to customer service for accurate quoting and manufacturing, and stay updated on new product and service offerings. The role requires a proactive approach to market condition changes, sharing insights with management to adapt strategies accordingly.
