About The Position

The Sheet Metal Fabrication Cell Operator B position at Textron Aviation involves setting up and operating various machines to fabricate aircraft components. This role is essential in transforming and shaping metal parts according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring high-quality production standards. The operator will work on the second shift and is expected to contribute to the legacy of Textron Aviation, a leader in private aviation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience operating related equipment.
  • Experience in related fields such as automotive is helpful.

  • Bronze Level WorkKeys certification.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate a variety of machines to fabricate aircraft components.
  • Transform and straighten parts based on blueprints and instructions using fabrication equipment.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for forming, straightening, routing, drilling, shearing, and deburring metal parts.
  • Ensure high-quality surface appearance and shape of fabricated parts.
