About The Position

Lee Company provides core construction services of HVAC, plumbing and electrical for large and small commercial projects throughout Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky. Summary of Job: Collect information, record data and estimate the cost for all Large Construction sheet metal projects on which the company places bids. Process includes completing plan analysis, developing materials list, bid take off, bidding and interface with sales department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with sheet metal/mechanical estimation.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction and sheet metal/mechanical systems.
  • Field experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to be trained in the use of Company-specific applications and software.
  • Auto bid Sheet Metal (formerly QuickPen) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collect information and record data for Large Construction sheet metal projects.
  • Estimate costs for projects on which the company places bids.
  • Complete plan analysis and develop materials list.
  • Perform bid take off and bidding.
  • Interface with the sales department.
