Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to build trust, hold accountability, and motivate a team

Nice To Haves

Experience in extrusion or plastics manufacturing preferred
A hands-on leader who is willing to step in and support the team when needed

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop extrusion team members to meet production and quality goals
Assign daily work, monitor performance, and provide direction to employees
Ensure all safety procedures are followed and promote a strong safety culture
Maintain production efficiency, extrusion rates, and monthly output goals
Review production needs, staffing levels, and material requirements
Troubleshoot extrusion issues and support continuous operations across shifts
Ensure accurate production reporting, scrap tracking, and documentation
Enforce company policies, procedures, and quality standards (ISO)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment using 5S principles
Support employee development, training, and performance management
Partner with HR on employee relations and team development
Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
