About The Position

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Shear Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 2nd shift. 2nd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $2.00. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
• Must be able to take measurements by using the decimal system

Nice To Haves

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
• Communication skills
• Computer knowledge
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to read KI print will be useful

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, safety inspections of the shear and end finisher
• Cut the correct materials according to the shop orders
• Change blades as necessary
• Change and adjust machines based on tubing diameter and length
• Transport bundles of steel tubing utilizing a hoist system.
• Perform multiple tasks to ISO Quality Standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
