About The Position

We are currently hiring for a shear operator. The ideal person will have a strong work ethic, be dependable, and have strong mechanical ability.

Requirements

• Ability to work in an industrial environment
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to perform physical duties to include, but not limited to lifting, standing for a prolonged period, walking, reaching, bending, and climbing.
• Be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening to include a criminal background check, drug screening, and physical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Load rebars into the machine based on proper instructions.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot.
• Cut the rebar to size based on the specification.
• Perform general cleaning to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties around the plant as needed.
