About The Position

SharePoint Product Owner The Opportunity: As the SharePoint Product Owner, you will lead the strategy, execution, and continuous evolution of enterprise SharePoint Online solutions. This role requires deep product ownership capability aligned with enterprise Product and Service Ownership principles, including customer‑centricity, data‑driven decision‑making, strategic roadmap management, and operational excellence. This role focuses on executing defined product strategies, maintaining backlogs, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring SharePoint solutions meet business needs. What You’ll Work On: Support the development and refinement of the SharePoint product backlog, including user stories and acceptance criteria. Work with engineers, UX, and platform teams to facilitate sprint planning and delivery activities. Document enhancements, requirements, and product changes clearly and consistently. Define and enforce the governance policies and best practices for SharePoint Online and OneDrive, including external collaboration, data protection, and retention. Participate in working sessions, demos, and technical exchanges to gather input and validate updates. E nga ge regularly with internal teams to support delivery of SharePoint capabilities. Track product KPIs and usage patterns to recommend incremental improvements. Support governance, compliance, and lifecycle activities tied to SharePoint Online solutions. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Agile service management, including running feature teams with Agile met hodology such as Kanban or Scrum
  • Experience with best practices for iterative service release and communications
  • Experience supporting and enhancing SharePoint Online, including site templates, permissions, versioning, content management, governance and storage controls
  • Experience with stakeholder e nga gement, including documenting user stories and driving prioritization of the backlog
  • Experience navigating enterprise-scale environments
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 management, including SharePoint and OneDrive, OR 10+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 management, including SharePoint and OneDrive, in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AvePoint Control Suite and its integration with SharePoint or M365 environments
  • Experience with Micro sof t 365 collaboration tools, including Teams, Power Apps, and Power BI
  • Knowledge of workflow automation or met adata or taxonomy concepts.
  • Possession of excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Micro sof t Service Adoption Spe cia list Certification
  • Micro sof t SharePoint, Exchange, or Teams Certifications
