About The Position

Venture Global LNG is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. The Information Security Analyst, Information Technology, analyzes, maintains, and reports on the SharePoint tools and systems utilized by the teams supporting our LNG plants, and Venture Global businesses. The analyst manages the design and development of technical infrastructure using the Microsoft SharePoint web platform. The analyst would help with SharePoint site creation, as needed, works on User security administration including creating groups and adding/removing members in Azure Active Directory. The IT Security Analyst will ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or information technology
  • 7 or more years of professional experience as SharePoint administrator/analyst
  • Knowledgeable in Webtrends Analytics for SharePoint
  • Strong technical skills- demonstrated skills in conceptualizing solutions, documenting them
  • Document and develop business requirements, use cases, and recommend governance practices
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and system design skills

Responsibilities

  • Support Organization's SharePoint Online posture by ensuring the seamless operation, configuration, and administration of SharePoint environments
  • Administer and maintain SharePoint farms and databases to ensure the highest level of performance and security
  • Manage and revise SharePoint governance policies, aligning them with federal compliance requirements
  • Implement and oversee site collections, workflows, and custom solutions to facilitate organizational needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and tools
  • Design, execute, and document backup and recovery procedures
  • Experience with SharePoint migrations and well-versed in SharePoint features (e.g., search; reporting; workflows; document management; InfoPath; and content management)
  • Experience with synchronizing SharePoint user profile schema from Active Directory user profiles
  • Conduct regular audits to evaluate the effectiveness and security of SharePoint environments, adhering to federal regulations and compliance mandates
  • Offer technical support and troubleshooting, employing a customer-focused approach to meet the distinct needs of Organization's personnel
  • Provide training sessions and create user-friendly documentation, empowering Organization staff to effectively utilize SharePoint capabilities
  • Good understanding of Power Apps and Power Automate services in M365, along with Active Directory group, M365 groups and user profiles
