About The Position

The SharePoint Assistant is responsible for supporting the organization’s SharePoint environment by managing content, maintaining site structure, and ensuring data integrity.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of administrative or SharePoint support experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (Online or On-Premises)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions
  • Create and manage document libraries, metadata, and workflows
  • Monitor site usage and storage limits
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and data governance standards
  • Upload, organize, and archive documents
  • Maintain version control and document lifecycle processes
  • Standardize file naming conventions and folder structures
  • Assist with migration of files to SharePoint from shared drives
  • Provide first-level support to end users
  • Troubleshoot basic SharePoint access and functionality issues
  • Create user guides and documentation
  • Assist departments with SharePoint-based forms and templates
  • Coordinate with IT for system updates and improvements
