About The Position

The Shareholder Accounting Intern reports directly to the Shareholder Accounting Manager. This role involves day-to-day projects within the department, including process improvement, data support, reporting, documentation, and other assigned duties. The intern will assist with the preparation of stock and equity transfer applications, auditing for compliance, verifying and recording security filings (including crop liens, UCC agreements, and equity securities), preparing Shareholder beet payments, and coordinating and assisting in reviewing Shareholder agreements for compliance. American Crystal Sugar Company is a sugarbeet cooperative owned by its growers, deeply rooted in the communities of the Red River Valley. • Individual in their Junior or Senior year of University majoring in Accounting, Finance or Business.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of stock and equity transfer applications and auditing for compliance.
• Assist with verifying and recording security filings, to include crop liens, UCC agreements and equity securities.
• Assist with preparation of Shareholder beet payments.
• Coordinate and assist in reviewing Shareholder agreements for compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
