The SharePoint Business Analyst / ECM Solution Designer role at Excelraise, LLC involves working remotely to support the design and implementation of SharePoint solutions for clients. The position requires a strong background in business analysis, particularly in SharePoint, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing custom SharePoint lists, libraries, and content types, as well as evaluating and re-engineering business processes.

  • Design and implement custom Microsoft SharePoint lists, libraries, and content types.
  • Evaluate and re-engineer business processes to improve efficiency.
  • Write clear and concise technical training materials and user documentation.
  • Communicate business processes to IT Development and IT applications to business users.
  • Test SharePoint and web-based content management solutions.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to design and test web-based content management solutions.
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps tool suite.
  • Experience with Balsamiq Wireframes.
  • Understanding of NCDOT's Transportation Life Cycle business process.
