About The Position

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a SharePoint Administrator to support our government customer located in Fort Lee, Virginia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer related field, Database Management or Application development preferred.
  • Individual shall have IAT-II certification (i.e. CCNA Security, Security+ CE, GSEC, GIC SP, S SCP, CySA+**) IAW AR 25-2.
  • Experience in working with current platform SharePoint 2016 and knowledge of SharePoint Online 2016 with design, development, testing and deployment.
  • Experience with migration of SharePoint sites, taxonomy, and search features.
  • HTML, CSS
  • Must have experience with planning, design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SharePoint Online solutions
  • Must have Diagnostic and analytical skills for software/application knowledge.
  • Ability to multitask - sense of urgency; maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong customer service experience and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Previous experience with DoD and other Government Entities.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the SharePoint portal content and act as the site collection admin
  • Diagnose and repair SharePoint portal issues
  • Support updating tenant security plans and preparing documentation for incident responses and disaster recovery operations
  • Support the transition from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online
  • Create SharePoint workflows
  • Help design and implement custom tools and applications through SharePoint
  • Provide user tech support when required
  • Other duties as assigned.
