About The Position

McCain Foods is now accepting applications for a 12-hour [day/night shift] at our Burley, ID facility. This position is responsible for monitoring the size and quality of products after freezing and the temperature of freezer tunnels. Shaker Room Attendant is also responsible for controlling the distribution of product line flow to the packaging deck.

Requirements

Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is required.

Responsibilities

Monitors freezer tunnel speed and temperature
Monitors quality of product (including size) in line flow and in cribs.
Calculates, charts, and documents required data.
Monitors crib add back to line flow.
Sets up and monitors shakers, belts, and tunnel fans.
Cleans and sanitizes equipment and area.
Relieves packaging employees as required.

Hourly rate: $19.96 - $22.17
$1.50 shift differential for graveyard positions.
