Requirements

• Must have a CDL Class 'A' license to operate outside tractors.
• Familiarity with safety and operating load regulations.
• Knowledge of warehouse location and inventory control system.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and counts.
• Legible handwriting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and moves parts from various sources and stages the parts/materials at outside locations.
• Responsible for accurate physical count of parts and materials.
• Signs for correct shipments and records any quantity discrepancies or damaged parts.
• Delivers parts in an orderly manner to the proper designation needed.
• Prepares all necessary documentation to maintain records indicating part number, description, count, and storage locations.
• Responsible for the count accuracy of trailer loads or parts being moved from one location to another.
• Records material information using a CRT terminal as needed.
• Takes physical inventory of parts in outside locations by counting or weighing to verify counts of received and/or stored parts.
• Operates all motorized equipment in an orderly and safe manner.
• Reports operating deficiencies to Maintenance or Material Handling Supervisor.
• Performs minor mechanical repairs to all assigned motorized equipment.
• Loads and unloads bails and operates any supporting equipment as needed.
