Your Impact Pearce is seeking a SGRE Level 5 Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician, with a commitment to excellence, strong desire to succeed and learn new skills utilizing established procedures, with the highest regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance. As a SGRE Level 5 Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician, you are required to be a Family 2 Maintenance Technician who is certified on the G129, G132 and G145 platforms. Family 3 Maintenance Technician is certified on G80, G90, G110 and G114 platforms. Expected to be able to perform maintenance, minor to medium repairs (non-crane related), design modifications/retrofits and special projects, all following procedures. Must maintain certifications in all areas required by position. The position is 100% travel.

Requirements

  • SGRE qualified training profile.
  • SGRE Level 5 Maintenance Technician.
  • Work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
  • Work meets customer and company standards required of position and job, including following project schedules.
  • Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
  • Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
  • Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).

Nice To Haves

  • GWO certified preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
  • Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision.
