About The Position

ReadyOne Industries is a mission-driven manufacturer producing military protective garments for the U.S. Department of Defense under the AbilityOne Program. As we execute a major workforce expansion in 2026 and strengthen our organizational structure, the Production Supervisor is a critical frontline leadership role responsible for driving daily production output, quality, and team performance across multiple sewing manufacturing lines. The Production Supervisor directly oversees Team Leaders and their production teams, ensuring that ReadyOne meets its contractual delivery obligations on programs including but not limited to JSLIST, 2PUG, ACP, FRACU, etc., and other government contracts while maintaining the inclusive, high-performance culture that defines our organization. This role requires a leader who thrives on the production floor, is data-driven in decision-making, and is deeply committed to developing people.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing team leads in a high-volume production setting.
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, line balancing, and workflow optimization in a sewing or garment manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, FLSA, and quality management principles.
  • Proficiency with timekeeping systems (PayCom preferred) and production tracking tools.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold frontline leaders accountable for performance outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in government contract manufacturing, particularly DoD/DLA programs.
  • Familiarity with AbilityOne Program requirements, including disability ratio compliance and inclusive workplace practices.
  • Knowledge of DCAA audit requirements and FAR/DFARS regulations as they apply to production operations.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience supporting organizational transformation or significant workforce expansion initiatives.
