About The Position

The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality products according to company standards. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and safety while following production schedules and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality.
• Must be safety-focused and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be a U.S citizen.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a workstation.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble, stitch, and finish products according to specifications.
• Inspect materials and components before sewing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality requirements.
• Perform minor machine maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions, production issues, or defects to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
