About The Position

Operate or tend sewing machines to join, reinforce, decorate, or perform related sewing operations in the manufacture of garment or non-garment products. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in needle trades manufacturing processes preferred.
• Possess ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department, i.e. overtime.
• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to listen to what is said and act upon it appropriately.
• Ability to use tact and empathy in dealing with people of varied backgrounds.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment and plan and organize workload.
