About The Position

Uses flanging machine to sew mattress panels and flange material together while trimming panels and cutting excess material. Inspects, trims excess threads, and places panel in designated area. Requirements

Continuous standing while operating the sewing machine.
Frequent walking to retrieve materials and put finished unit into storage areas.
Frequent pushing and pulling of work piece while on the sewing table.
Frequent repetitive use of hands/arms while aligning pieces of fabric and feeding them into the machine.
Frequent repetitive use of foot to activate the sewing machine.
Frequent lifting and carrying of work in process, less than 10 pounds.
Occasional reaching over head to retrieve component parts.
Occasional grasping of fabric pieces and scissors.
Occasional lifting and carrying of pieces up to 25 pounds.
Must be 18 years of age or older
