About The Position

The Sewing Lead is responsible for providing work direction to the designated shift and ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner according to job specifications. This position will also perform hands-on sewing and production. The Sewing Lead demonstrates a commitment to the PD core values of integrity, passion, possibility, and the ability to work at the speed of retail.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on production and sewing functions.
Prioritize and organize job orders to meet deadlines.
Monitor quality and quantity of work done by each employee.
Report any issues or concerns on the designated shift.
Ensure the safety of all employees and enforce all safety policies on the designated shift.
Train new employees and work with current employees to improve their skills in both quality and speed.
Assist in all other areas of PD and work at other locations as time allows or work requires.
Work with team to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues.
Work on proto-typing and special projects as assigned.
Follows all safety and workplace policies.
