Job Purpose:

The Sewer will utilize the industrial sewing machine to manufacture synthetic slings and other materials.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a production environment, specifically with industrial sewing equipment highly preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and pre-employment physical.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair synthetic slings and assemblies
• Coordinate the production of orders with the Production Manager
• Maintain a safe working environment, and ensure that fabricated items are manufactured to BLP's quality standards
• Ensure that test samples of fabricated items are forwarded to the Production Manager as required.
• Perform other functions as required.
