About The Position

Job Summary: Responsible for operating sewing machine and rollers to feed the coater j-boxes 1st Shift Key Responsibilities: Use computer to scan roll labels into JIP program Verify coating type and weight of greige roll being sewn in Tag rolls with appropriate color sticker as needed Operate console to unroll greige rolls Sew tails of turf together Verify straightness and integrity of seam prior to sending turf into j-box Feed turf into j-box Maintain j-box level Communicate with console operators regarding line speed & product changes Perform autonomous maintenance tasks as required Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Ability to solve practical problems
Ability to read and understand documents such as SOPs and Safety Data Sheets
Ability to communicate effectively with leads and supervisor
Basic computer skills including internet use and spreadsheets
