Responsible for selecting all of the equipment needed for the sewing process, which includes setting up the machine and its peripherals, and using the tools correctly.
Operators are also responsible for monitoring machine operation, which can include fixing attachments like needles, threads, pattern plates or cutting blades.
Responsible for inspecting the product after it has been rendered.
Keeping record of the orders processed.
Setting apart quality passed garments.
Setting apart defective or lower-quality garments for correction or disposal.
Ensuring that textile parts are in correct sequences and confirming that the color lots and textile patterns match.

Should be able to work on sewing machines in a manufacturing environment.
Should have good organizational skills for sorting and cutting textile parts for joining.
Should have high hand dexterity to operate sewing machines.
Should have some interpersonal skills.
Should have initiative in getting the job done.

A high school diploma is sufficient for this position.
Past experience in manufacturing sewing operations is beneficial.
