About The Position
Under general supervision, the Sewer Pump Station Electrician performs skilled electrical work in the operation, repair, and installation of various equipment and electronic instrumentation devices associated with wastewater collection systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with pump station installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair; possess extensive knowledge and experience working with motor controls, PLCs programming, electrical panels and circuits, and high-voltage systems; be familiar with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations; communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and orally with a variety of people including contractors, facility personnel, and suppliers; have strong attention to detail; and work well independently or as part of a team.
