1st shift Sewer/Mender Production Associate
About The Position
Miller’s Textile Services is currently hiring a Sewer/Mender Production Associate to join our 1st shift team at our Wapakoneta, Ohio plant. This team works Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm. Requirements
- Ability to stand for length of shift
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to effectively comprehend and communicate in English
- Ability to meet production goals
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience operating commercial sewing machine preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspect garments and repair as needed
- Patch holes in garments with heat seal equipment
- Make sewing repairs to garments such as hems, sleeves, or arm pit area
- Replace missing/broken buttons on garments
- Maintain sewing and heat sealing equipment
