As a host you will create amazing dining experiences by warmly greeting and seating guests, using names when possible, and maintaining a smooth operation using a waiting list or reservation program.

  • Graciously greet and seat guests
  • Adjust flow of guests with a waiting list
  • Call out name and party number when table becomes available
  • Once guests are seated, gently pass out menus and state the name of their server
  • Review each table for proper presentation before guests are seated
  • Talk with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their dining experience
  • Respond to complaints and help resolve issues with appropriate team members
  • Assist bussers and/or servers when appropriate
  • Communicate with servers and managers
  • Thank guests as they exit the restaurant
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence
  • Must be 18+
  • Food Handler Permit
  • Demonstrate competency in operating dish machines and chemicals
  • Requires some exercise of judgement within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval
  • Requires problem solving and initiation of activities within job description and have a strong understanding of other Snowbird operations
