As a host you will create amazing dining experiences by warmly greeting and seating guests, using names when possible, and maintaining a smooth operation using a waiting list or reservation program.
Graciously greet and seat guests
Adjust flow of guests with a waiting list
Call out name and party number when table becomes available
Once guests are seated, gently pass out menus and state the name of their server
Review each table for proper presentation before guests are seated
Talk with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their dining experience
Respond to complaints and help resolve issues with appropriate team members
Assist bussers and/or servers when appropriate
Communicate with servers and managers
Thank guests as they exit the restaurant
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence
Must be 18+
Food Handler Permit
Demonstrate competency in operating dish machines and chemicals
Requires some exercise of judgement within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval
Requires problem solving and initiation of activities within job description and have a strong understanding of other Snowbird operations
