Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years recent experience in an injection molding environment.
• Strong written/verbal communication.
• Good decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Excellent math skills needed.
• Ability to read blueprints and other engineering drawings.
• Knowledge and ability to use various hand tools.
• Basic PC and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, remove and troubleshoot injection mold tooling and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on injection molds.
• Ability to set-up molds.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine processes.
• Ability to read specifications to determine machine set-up and prescribed temperature and time settings.
• Ability to repair and maintain machines and auxiliary equipment using hand and power tools.
• Enter molding parameters in the press.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
