Requirements

  • Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Vision: 20/25 vision corrected or uncorrected
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment
  • Communication: For safety and quality, must be able to read, write & understand English
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Medium
  • Strong Math skills - three-digit addition and subtraction, multiple digit multiplication and division. Converting fractions to decimals. Ability to follow formulas for conversions (ex: SF to LF).

Responsibilities

  • Independently set up and operate various manufacturing equipment that requires specialized skill or expertise.
  • Read blueprints and follow instructions.
  • Investigate quality problems and conflicts in routing, inspection instructions and blueprints.
  • Produce product in timely manner while following all Quality system requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Capable of proficiency on all types of equipment and setup of equipment used in work cell within 60 days of hire.
  • Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to train team members.
  • Capable of utilizing essential computers skills to efficiently complete assignments.
  • Utilize Lean tools and be active participant in Lean events and High Performance Teams.
  • Participate in 5S activities per Manager request.
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise, strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work and thrive in Team environment.
  • Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends.
  • Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures.
  • Other assignments as assigned by Management.
