About The Position
The position involves repairing injection and blow molding tooling to return them to original specifications and design. The candidate will be responsible for fabricating working parts based on basic concepts, modifying tooling as required by engineering, and welding tooling to ensure proper dimensions. Additional responsibilities include cutting gears to correct tolerances and pitch, determining the most efficient and safe methods for repairs or fabrication, procuring necessary items for projects, and maintaining the toolroom in a clean and orderly condition. The role also requires maintaining detailed records of mold tooling and spare parts, as well as managing the print cabinet for reference.
