Overview The Setup Attendant is responsible for preparing event spaces by setting up and breaking down furniture, equipment, and event materials according to venue standards. This role ensures all rooms and event areas are properly arranged, clean, and ready for guests before an event begins. Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow setup instructions
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in event setup, warehouse, or hospitality is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Set up tables, chairs, stages, risers, and other event equipment based on event diagrams and instructions
  • Break down and remove furniture/equipment after events and return items to storage areas
  • Assist with moving and arranging heavy items safely and efficiently
  • Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and properly staged before guest arrival
  • Follow safety procedures when lifting, carrying, and transporting materials
  • Support event operations staff as needed during events
  • Report damaged equipment or safety hazards to supervisors
  • Maintain a professional and team-oriented attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
